Luís Câncio
ADn Aquarium Design founder partner
Marine biologist by Abel Salazar Biomedical Sciences Institute of Oporto University. Luís is the operations technical director and is responsible for all aquarium conception and installation, as well as for planning the maintenance of all ADn aquariums. Luís began his professional experience in public aquariums, namely with a professional internship at the Genoa Aquarium in 1995. That same year he was chosen for the team responsible designing a public aquarium for the city of Matosinhos, in Portugal. During the Expo 98 (1998 Lisbon World Exposition), he made part of the team responsible for the maintenance of the jellyfish aquarium at the Future Pavilion. From 1999 to 2003 he was technical collaborator at the Oceanário de Lisboa. From 2006 onwards he has been solely dedicated to ADn-Aquarium Design project.
Ana Salgueiro
ADn Aquarium Design founder partner
Environmental engineer by the Faculty of Sciences and Technology (FCT NOVA). Ana is an environmental and sustainability consultant with more than fifteen years of professional experience. She is the founder of the company Ana Salgueiro – Consulting for Sustainability, which develops consulting and training activities in sustainability and environment. Since 2015 it is also responsible for communication and sustainability of ADn.
Aquariology technicians
ADn team includes specialist professional technicians that ensure the quality of all installations and maintenance. All our technicians graduated in natural sciences, particularly in Marine Biology and Ecology.
